Problema din cauza careia sunt afisate halouri violet in unele poze facute cu terminalul iPhone 5 este intalnita si la alte iPhone-uri, dar si la alte terminale Android, conform celor de la Consumer Reports. Ei au testat camera terminalului iPhone 5 in comparatie cu iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S III si Motorola Droid Razr Maxx, iar problema acelui halou a fost reprodusa in pozele acestor terminale. La iPhone 5 se vad pete violet sau efecte de curcubeu cand anumite surse de lumina sunt surprinse in poze, iar in cazul terminalelor Android/a iPhone 4S au fost prezentate exact aceleasi simptome.
We carried out our tests in response to reports, including those from PCMag.com and DPReview.com, that the iPhone 5 had a tendency to display a distracting purple color over parts of certain shots and videos. In our tests, the phone’s camera did indeed display such a haze when we shot into a bright light source in our labs. But it didn’t do so in any more pronounced a fashion than did the iPhone 4S or two Android-based smart phones, the Samsung Galaxy S III and Motorola Droid Razr Maxx, when we tested those under the same conditions. In the course of our tests, the haze was sometimes purple, but sometimes another color or even a rainbow.
Apple a explicat intr-un document de suport ca aceasta problema este intalnita si la alte camere sau smartphone-uri, cei de la Consumer Reports confirma spusele companiei Apple, iar acum toata lumea intra in cercul acelorasi probleme. Era de altfel greu de crezut ca smartphone-urile Android nu sunt afectate, insa asta nu inseamna ca vreunul dintre acesti producatori trebuie iertat pentru faptul ca a adus pe piata dispozitive cu asemenea probleme. Nici Apple, nici Samsung, nici Motorola, nici alti producatori nu ar trebui sa fie iertati, chiar daca au gresit felul in care au gandit intregul ansamblu al camerei si capacul care o protejeaza.
In concluzie, toti au probleme, nu doar noi, dar acest lucru este in continuare enervant.
