This tutorial will help you modify the "slide to unlock" text as well as many others in Springboard such as "slide to answer", "slide for emergency", "slide for alarm".
Step 1
Connect the phone to the computer and open ifunbox.
Step 2
Navigate to System>Library>Core Services>Springboard.app>English.lproj (if you have another language selected, look for the code for that language in the list) and copy SpringBoard.strings to your computer.
Step 3
Change the extension of the file SpringBoard.strings to SpringBoard.plist.
Step 4
With the help of a plist editor, open the file and look for the text "slide to unlock", then delete it and replace it with the desired text. Be careful, however, that the text should not have more characters than "slide to unlock" because not all of them will appear. You can search for other names that you want to change, but be careful that what you change is not longer than what was already there.
Step 5
Rename SpringBoard.plist to SpringBoard.strings and copy it back to the directory where you got it by selecting overwrite over the old one.
Step 6
Close ifunbox and restart the phone, after the restart you should see all the changes.
