For about a week, information has been circulating on the Internet about the first Firewall type application for the iPhone. The application will apparently be called Firewall IP, and for the first time in the history of the iPhone, it will give users the opportunity to decide which applications are or are not allowed to connect to the Internet and under what conditions.
Have you ever wanted to stop your phone from doing Internet traffic at will? Haven't you ever wished you didn't have to change the settings every time you go off the Internet so you don't wake up with a huge extra charge overnight? I do! And I hope this application lives up to expectations because I'm tired of putting the internet settings every time I need it and removing them when I don't use it.
