Sounds good doesn't it? Google made the decision to develop its own GPS application, keep it up, FREE, to promote its Android operating system and probably to get a little fed up with Apple and the Telephone Operators who kept the giant from Mountain View short .
In theory it sounds fantastic, but applied to the current old and bad maps (yes, I know they have been updated but the updates are old) the application will be as useless as Maps, especially if it requires downloading the maps.
I expect it to be a marketing shot and nothing more, at least for us Romanians, for the US it will be a great success, especially since it also has Turn By Turn Navigation, which is charged in the US.
