Ever since its launch, the iPhone 3GS has been put under the microscope to test the veracity of Apple's claims regarding the application of the "fastest" mobile phone label on the market. Some of you may remember this test in which the 3GS practically sweeps the Pre from Palm and leaves the "old" 3G far behind.

With the implementation of the new ARM Cortex A8 processor and among the Internet tablets, the time has come for a new confrontation, this time not with the dwarf from Palm but with the Sharp NetWalker smartbook running the Android system, Archos 5 IMT and Archos Android 5 PMP.

The test criterion was the loading of web pages and as you can clearly see, the iPhone is only 0.6 seconds behind the Archos 5 PMP model running a port of the Android system in Linux. The difference of 0.6 seconds is given by the 800 mhz processor of the Archos, but the big question is... How would the iPhone manage with another 200 mhz?
