Today Mozilla announced the release of the first beta version for the new version of the popular Firefox browser. This version is built on the Gecko 1.9.2 engine, which primarily brings improvements intended to help web developers in creating sites compatible with Firefox.
The improvements that interest us, however, are others:
– the new version will warn users about the updates that appear for the installed plugins
– WOFF font support
- performance improvements, especially when loading the page and opening the browser
The beta version is available for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux in 53 languages.
