Navigon for Android on December 10

navigon-android-1 Google stole a good part of the clients of the companies developing GPS applications for mobile phones by announcing a free GPS application that will have Turn-By-Turn navigation, but the big problem is that the application is currently only available for the USA. The first company to react is Navigon through today's announcement, made at ICE Amsterdam, which reveals the porting of the Navigon application from iPhone to Android. The price of the new application has not yet been revealed, but the iPhone application is somewhere around $140, so Android phone users can expect this amount on launch day. Navigon has relied on the fact that Google will not hurry with the development of its application for the European region, so we can expect iGo or Tom Tom to make similar decisions. The application will be compatible with devices that have installed any firmware version between 1.5 and 2.0.
