Firefox 3.6 beta 4 available

22741 I have to admit that Firefox is the browser I use for surfing the Internet, after an unpleasant experience with Google Chrome, which for some time is about 3 steps behind Firefox in terms of page loading speed. When I heard that version 3.6 beta 1 was released, I was very curious to try the new features of my favorite browser, but I was somewhat disappointed, first of all, because the add-ons developers for Firefox had not made the necessary updates for to support beta version 3.6 and secondly because it had a lot of bugs, it crashes very often but it moves much better than version 3.5.

Almost a month after the release of version 3.6 beta 1, here we are already at beta 4, which has over 100 bug fixes and almost 70% of add-ons for firefox have received the necessary updates to work with version 3.6. Here are some of the features brought by version 3.6 updated to beta 4, after which I will try the latest version, I hope it will not disappoint me:

* (New in this version) Support for the HTML5 File API
* A change to how third-party software integrates with Firefox to increase stability.
* The ability to run scripts asynchronously to speed up page load times.
* A mechanism to prevent incompatible software from crashing Firefox.
* Users can now change their browser's appearance with a single click, with built in support for Personas.
* Firefox 3.6 will alert users about out of date plugins to keep them safe.
* Open, native video can now be displayed full screen, and supports poster frames.
* Support for the WOFF font format.
* Improved JavaScript performance, overall browser responsiveness and startup time.
* Support for new CSS, DOM and HTML5 web technologies.
