Orange Romania sells iPhone 3G for 1 euro

orange-iphone Orange Romania received a new batch of iPhone 3G, or at least that's what I deduce from the iPhone 3G offer launched yesterday under the title "iPhone day". The day has passed, but the offer remains, and it's a pretty good one from my point of view, especially for a phone that will no longer be manufactured. Orange as always tries to obtain maximum profit by any means (it is not my favorite operator even though I am a subscriber) and launched a rather interesting offer: iPhone 3G 8GB (be careful not to confuse it with the iPhone 3GS because on the website Orange, the phone is simply an iPhone) for 1 euro! Some of you might be a little surprised, how is this possible? Only 1 euro for iPhone? Of course yes, anything is possible, we just live in Romania, right? Yes, and because we live in Romania, here's what the offer looks like: with the Delfin 60 subscription of 60 euros per month, 24-month contract, you can buy the iPhone for only 1 euro and the price increases proportionally with the chosen subscription: Delfin 40, 40 euros per month , 24-month contract, price 49 euros, Delfin 20, 20 euros monthly, 24-month contract, price 79 euros, etc. I have to admit that the price for Delfin 20 sounds the best from my point of view and I will explain why, looking only at the financial part, leaving aside what the subscription has to offer: 20 euros x 24 months = 480 euros + 79 euros (phone price) = 559 euros, a final price that is higher than the price of a new 3 GB 16GS, but it is amortized in 2 years. The price for Delfin 60 after the same calculation reaches 1440 euros in 2 years, but of course you also have the benefits offered by subscriptions.

Comparing the 2 subscriptions, I personally would choose delfin 20 with the iPhone in terms of the final price, if that matters to anyone. Even if Delfin 60 offers more in the subscription, the final price is almost 3 times higher and I personally consider it exaggerated.

So if you want an iPhone, now is the time to buy it, I doubt you will see an offer like this from Orange very soon.
