Tom Clancy\'s HAWX now in the AppStore

201134_2-300x200 announce some time ago that Gameloft will soon release for iPhone/iPod Touch the ported version from PC and consoles a Tom Clancy's HAWX, the game created by the Romanian division of Ubisoft. Here the big day has come, from today the game became available in the AppStore and let's review something about it. As I mentioned in the article previous, the game is an airplane simulator, which puts you in the position of a fighter jet pilot, sent to save his teammates or other strategic objectives in the face of enemy attacks. The action takes place along 13 levels, including 26 missions, in which you will be able to use a multitude of planes (I assure you that the list is long) accompanied by an entire arsenal that will prove extremely useful in shooting down enemy planes as well as land or sea targets.

To create the levels, Gameloft used high-resolution images captured from satellites, the final result being a very faithful and realistic representation of cities such as Washington DC, Rio de Janeiro or Chicago. Each plane has a personalized cockpit, just like in reality, at the same time each plane has its pluses and minuses, and at the beginning of each mission you will be recommended a certain aircraft, but the choice is yours, having the option to select any of the available planes.

Like the gameplay, you need a little skill and patience to be able to control the plane properly. Being a fan of the PC version, I've adapted to the benchmarks, I recommend the game, I've been waiting for it since the official announcement by Gameloft.

If you are interested, you can buy it from the US AppStore for $6.99 here and from the RO AppStore for €5.49 from here, and finally a gameplay trailer:
