Sort Shots allows you to search through iPhone photos

23781-500 Yesterday, Beanhead Consulting announced the immediate availability in the AppStore of the first application for iPhone/iPod Touch that allows users to search for a specific picture by phone. The application promises users that it will save them from manually searching through the hundreds of photos in the Camera Roll thanks to advanced search algorithms that allow finding a specific photo in a few seconds. The application also allows users to share photos on Twitter, Facebook, send them by e-mail or even create slideshows in which to add songs from the phone's music library as a soundtrack.

The application was created based on the studies of some North American polling companies that claim that the average American takes around 20 pictures a day which, multiplied by the days of a month and the months of a year, reach some astronomical figures and so the guys from Beanhead s - they thought that an application that would make scrolling through Camera Roll easier would be helpful.

I have to admit that the search is quite complex and customizable, allowing you to search for any word, to add a certain tag to each picture or to enter it in a certain category, which will later help you search or add a picture among favorites. I personally consider it useful, especially since I have the habit of filling my phone with pictures and videos weekend after weekend.

If you are interested in the application, you can buy it for $2.99 from the US AppStore here and for €2.39 from the RO AppStore here.
