AutoStitch 2.0 – photos with 20mpx resolution on iPhone

An update for the application appeared in the AppStore yesterday Autostitch which more recently boasts the ability to take 20-megapixel photos with the iPhone's camera. Autostitch is a fairly old application in the iPhone community that, according to users, with the new update is able to render pictures with the quality of 20 megapixels by using algorithms specially created by its developers and by combining several successive pictures of the same scenario.

According to the explanations given by the developers, their algorithms can create a panoramic image with a resolution of up to 20 megapixels by combining 10 images of the same scenario, unlike the other applications that are based on much fewer images and do not bring new details in the resulting final image.

It is not the first and certainly not the last application that promises spectacular results with a camera that from a technological point of view was surpassed even before it was put in the phone, the software has its limits and unfortunately most of the time it shows them in such applications.

If you are still interested in the application and want to buy it, you can do it for $1.99 from the US AppStore by here and for €1.59 from the RO AppStore here.
