Sn0wbreeze beta available for download

After months and months of work, the beta version has finally been released sn0wbreeze his iH8sn0w, the program that allows users to create custom ipsw's directly from Windows.

The program is compatible with the following devices:

  • iPhone 2G;
  • iPhone 3G;
  • iPhone 3GS (excluding models with the new iBoot);
  • iPod Touch 1G
  • iPod Touch 2G (excluding models with MC)

But that's not all, to be able to run Sn0wbreeze you need the following:

  • Windows XP, Vista, 7 (32 or 64bit)
  • . NET Framework 3.5 (download here);
  • 256MB of RAM;

It should be mentioned that Windows 7 already has .NET Framework 3.5, so you don't need to install it, and I think Vista has it, XP certainly doesn't have it, so it must be installed.

The program is currently in the beta stage, so use it carefully. It has some bugs but iH8sn0w said it will work properly for now. The only minus is the fact that you cannot use the program in Expert Mode yet, but it will be corrected in the final version that will be released on Monday.

The site official iH8sn0w's is currently unavailable due to high traffic, so you can download sn0wbreeze from here.

I won't do a tutorial for now because I tried to create a custom ipsw using the program and I got about 10 errors, so I can't trust that ipsw is good or not, when the final version appears I'll make a tutorial. Until then, I recommend NOT TO USE ANY CUSTOM IPSW MADE WITH sn0wbreeze TO RESTORE YOUR PHONE!!!
