ToolJail is a new program for Windows made by an Italian developer who will help you do it jailbreak/unlock iPhone / iPod Touchyour regardless of firmware/baseband/bootrom.
Before you rejoice too much, I inform you that, besides the fact that the name is written completely backwards, this is probably because the boy who made it is not a big fan of the English language, ToolJail it is entirely in Italian! All instructions, all options are exclusively in Italian because ToolJail it was made especially for the website of the iSpazio.
However, until the appearance of an English version and until the appearance of a tutorial of mine (if I consider it worth it), let's see what options it has ToolJail :
- the first one is called "jailbreak guide" and by accessing it you are put in front of a menu of options and depending on their selection the program will tell you if you can jailbreak iPhone / iPod Touchto your and depending on the answer provided by the application, that is, if iDeviceYours can be jailbroken or not - the program will display a jailbreak tutorial;
- the second option is called DFU and Recovery Mode and contains details on how you can enter iPhonein one of these 2 ways;
- the third is called Downgrade and contains information on how you can downgrade/restore one iPhone 3GS with SHSH saved in Cydia.
– the last option contains download links for different firmwares/jailbreak programs.
The program itself is an excellent idea, but the fact that it was made exclusively in Italian shows the limits of the Italians. To be honest, I think it would have been hugely successful if it had been made in English.
