Orange launches Data Traffic Control

IERI (Yesterday) Orange Romania has launched Data Traffic Control, a free service intended for customers who usually travel within the European Union and during this time want to access the Internet, the company trying to protect them from excessive traffic in order not to wake up with bills of hundreds/thousands Of euro. The service offers customers the opportunity to set certain traffic limits, and when reaching 70% of the estimated traffic and then when the total traffic is consumed, they will receive a warning message, after which the data service will be automatically suspended.

As he says Orange, the data traffic inside European Union it costs €4/MB and the company offers packages of 12.5/25/37.5/50MB which cost €50/100/150/200, these being also the limits at which the traffic will be automatically suspended until the end of the current month.

You can find more details about the new service here, leaving aside the HUGE, and EXTREMELY exaggerated costs for data traffic, the service itself seems to me to be an excellent idea because there are many phone owners who access the Internet without even knowing when the bill for the month will arrive found that they have to pay hundreds of euros for the bitter 50MB they consumed in any country from UE.

If you have to travel frequently through UE and you have one iPhone I recommend you to activate this service which is absolutely free but will save you from astronomical bills.
