Google retracts what it said about the availability of Google Maps Navigation

It would seem that all the informations this morning related to the porting of the navigation applications of those from Google pe iPhone OS it would have been just an overinflated air balloon cei who were at the press conference held by Google in London because it seems that they misinterpreted what was said by the Google officials present at the conference.

We did not say we would bring it to iPhone, we said to date we've had it on Android and that in the future it may come to other platforms but did not confirm this will be coming to iPhone at all.

Seeing the articles that appeared on the Internet after the press conference, Google reacted and clarified the situation through his spokesperson, declaring that Google he did not confirm the fact that he will make an application for the iPhone, but only that he is thinking of porting his application to other platforms, not excluding but also confirming the fact that iPhone OS is among those.

On the one hand, this clarification is understandable because Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is very strict when it comes to accepting certain applications in AppStore and the recent harassment with Google would not indicate that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), would be willing to accept such an application in AppStore and here it must be taken into account that there are companies such as TomTom/iGo/Navigon who make good money from the applications for iPhone.

If the application will be carried on iPhone OS remains to be seen, but after today's statements, it will probably take some time.
