Police seize 2 Gizmodo servers

Maybe you remember the news in which said about the police investigation into how those from Gizmodo they came into possession of the prototype of iPhone separating Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, well, on Friday the investigators decided to go to the house of the publisher John Chen to make a search and after this search they confiscated his personal computer, 2 servers, tablet iPad, a 250 GB HDD plus some other personal items of John Chen and his Gizmodo, all with details regarding the data about the new iPhone. All this happened in the absence of John Chen who was away from home on business.

According to what the people from Gizmodo, the respective search warrant is null and void because it was drawn up in violation of an article of the penal code of the State of California, and if they are right, the said evidence will not be able to be used in a possible trial against Gizmodo.

Although it seemed like nothing, it seems that the US police do not take anything into account and do their job very seriously, it remains to be seen how it will end in the end.
