Concidering , the warning given yesterday by Dev Team about the rescue SHSHby all those who need it Spirit, iH8sn0w the updated AutoSHSH, the program to save SHSH-s that work even for those who do not have a jailbreak but have an activated phone.
I don't know if it works for those who have their phones in Emergency Mode, but theoretically it should, so if you have your phone in Emergency Mode you can try the steps below to save yourself SHSHFor the 3.1.3 firmware.
AutoSHSH saves SHSHs ONLY for firmware 3.1.3/3.2. Saving SHSHs is required ONLY for iPad/iPhone 3GS/iPod Touch 2G/3G (new bootrom) because they are the only devices that cannot be jailbroken on firmware 3.1.3 or restored without SHSH. For the rest of the terminals, you don't need anything like that!
AutoSHSH RC2 saves SHSHs directly in Cydia so I recommend you to use this program when you are connected to the Internet!
Here's how you can save SHSHfor firmware 3.1.3/3.2 :
- Make sure you are connected to the internet and have it installed Java pe PC(if you do not have or you are not sure, press NO when you receive the warning message after opening the application and you will be directed to download Java);
Enter the phone in Recovery Mode because this method will save the SHSHs (you have a tutorial here) and press the Grab my SHSH blobs button.
You will be asked where you want the SHSHs for your device to be saved, select the location and press OK, then let the program do its job. When it finishes you will be notified by a warning message.
After you have saved the SHSH file, you can rest easy because you will be able to use it to restore the current firmware version even if you have not saved them in Cydia.
