Rumor: Apple has 2 iPhone models ready

Today, some interesting information appeared regarding Apple and the future iPhone 4G/HD, DigiTimes.com a disclosure the world that Apple had 2 iPhone models ready for this summer, but only one of them was going to be presented at WWDC and released a few days later.

The first of these is the iPhone 4G/HD prototype presented by Gizmodo and those from Vietnam, with the code name N90, and the second would be an inferior device from a hardware point of view, with the code name N91 and which would be followed to be presented to the world if the production for the first one would have been below the limits set by Apple. Apple is trying to avoid a new stock crisis similar to the one now with the iPad tablets and to be honest it is understandable considering that we are talking here about products that generate sales of billions of $ in a single weekend.

The same source confirms that Apple intended to implement AMOLED screens since the iPhone 3GS, but Samsung, the supplier of these screens, could only produce 50-60% of the screens required by Apple, so the giant from Cupertino chose to postpone the implementation of these screens for a later time when you will find suppliers capable of satisfying their needs.

Another interesting piece of information reveals the fact that Apple has been working on iPhone 4G/HD since 2008, so this prototype has been in the works for probably 2 years and it is possible that Apple gave up on its introduction last year due to problems with suppliers either of others with its design for who knows what other reasons and so we chose the iPhone 3GS which looks 100% identical to the iPhone 3G but is of course much more powerful than it.

Now it's too late for Apple to make us a "surprise” and to present an iPhone inferior to the prototype presented by those from Gizmodo, such a move disappoints a lot of people and would certainly have an extremely strong impact on sales.
