Yes, you read that right, a team of doctors in Japan used an iPad tablet during an operation to probably see images from inside the patient, images that probably guided them during the operation. The operation took place at Kobe University and it seems that the doctors used it quite a lot to complete the operation. You can also see from the video that the iPad tablet is completely covered with a foil to protect it from... blood, but the images are quite clear.
