AT&T stops selling iPhone 3G

AT&T, the only mobile operator in the US that sells the iPhone, announced today to its employees that it is stopping sales of the iPhone 3G due to the exhaustion of the terminals available in stock and recommends that the employees encourage customers to buy the 3GS model.

The fact that AT&T is stopping sales of the iPhone 3G is a clear sign that the new iPhone is approaching its launch, it is expected that Apple will introduce the new iPhone at the price at which the iPhone 3GS is sold now and the iPhone 3GS will move to the price at which the iPhone was sold 3G.

Effective immediately, iPhone 3G 8GB is Out of Stock. Please refer all customers to iPhone 3GS 16 GB and 32 GB models.
