It was expected that not even a day after the official presentation of the iPhone 4 we would see the first ads on eBay regarding the new iPhone, unfortunately the prices posted in these ads are downright colossal, almost €1200 or £975 for 16 GB version of iPhone 4 and over €1200 or £1000 for 32 GB version.
To be honest, I expected the prices to be high, but the offers on eBay are downright astronomical, it would be a revolutionary iPhone 4 and all that is not worth 1200 euros in any way, even if we are talking about a decoded version of the product. The prices are adjusted according to the official ones in Italy because the seller specifies that he will deliver the phones after their appearance in Italy, and that scares me because it is possible that the official prices in Europe will be unexpectedly high.
Until then, we have to see what the prices will be for France/Germany/Great Britain and we will then know what to expect.
UPDATE: AT&T's OFFICIAL prices are IDENTICAL to last year's iPhone 3GS, i.e. $599 for the 16GB model and $699 for the 32GB model! OFFICIAL INTERNATIONAL prices should be IDENTICAL to last year's!
