I already explained in one article why you need to save SHSHs for the new iOS 4.0, now I will explain how to save them. When you open Cydia today, you will be greeted by a message "Make my life easier" by which you are asked if you want the SHSHs for iOS 4 to be saved. Select YES to automatically save your SHSHs! If you select NO, then you will NOT be able to return to this option and Cydia will no longer save SHSHs for your phone!
It is very important to open Cydia and make this "registration" in the SHSH saving "program" in order not to have problems with restoring to iOS 4. This measure is necessary for any iPhone/iPod Touch (excluding iPhone 2G /iPod Touch 1G)!
