Apple sued due to overheating of the iPad tablet

According to those from Bloomberg, Apple was sued almost a week ago by several customers dissatisfied with the fact that the tablets overheated if they were used in areas with direct exposure to the sun. According to them, the tablet heated up very quickly, even if it was used in an environment where the temperature was slightly high, and after a few minutes of surfing the Internet/watching a movie, it displayed a warning message and closed itself.

The complaint, filed July 23 in federal court in Oakland, California, seeks unspecified damages and class action, or group, status. It claims the iPad "does not live up to the reasonable consumer's expectations created by Apple" because it "overheats so quickly under common weather conditions."

The iPad has a 9.7-inch touch-screen display that lets users read books and magazines, view videos, play games and surf the Internet. In direct sunlight, the tablet "turns off, sometimes after just a few minutes of use," according to the complaint.

iOS has a safety system that is triggered once the chip of the terminal heats up above a certain temperature and closes the system to avoid destroying any internal component. The iPhone heats up quite quickly when charging/surfing the Internet/during a conversation or when playing a game, but I personally have never been in the situation of receiving a warning message. I don't think it's about a general problem, but only about certain batches that have manufacturing problems, anyway you have to be careful with the terminals because you can suffer the same at any time.
