In the video clip above we have one test regarding the loading speed of web pages for 4 (some) recently launched terminals, and one of them sells a new operating system designed to "fight" with Apple's iOS. We are talking about a BlackBerry Bold 9700, a BlackBerry Torch 9800, an iPhone 4 and a Samsung Captivare, all on the US AT&T network. The test is important because the BlackBerry Torch 9800 runs the new BlackBerry 6 OS, with a new web browser kit designed to significantly improve performance in terms of internet browsing. Unfortunately, for those at BlackBerry, the iPhone 4 easily surpasses the Torch when it comes to loading web pages, in fact the BlackBerry terminal never manages to load a page before the iPhone 4 terminal.

BlackBerry is trying to keep up with iOS and Android, but year after year the 2 platforms are gaining more and more developers and terminals to adopt them, and BlackBerry is slowly losing its US/global market share.
