Apple will release a new iPhone model in January

For a month or so, there have been rumors that Apple could launch a new iPhone model in the near future, a model that will put an end to AT&T's supremacy in the US. It is about an iPhone model compatible with the CDMA standard of Verizon USA, and those from Techcrunch I maintain that the rumors are true and the new iPhone model will be launched in January. To support their claims, TechCrunch cites as an example the fact that Apple started buying CDMA chips from Qualcomm, the largest manufacturer of such chips. Moreover, Apple has never bought from Qualcomm, so these recent purchases indicate that Apple is preparing an iPhone compatible with the CDMA standard.

Sources with knowledge of this entire situation have assured me that Apple has submitted orders for millions of units of Qualcomm CDMA chipsets for a Verizon iPhone run due in December. This production run would likely be for a January launch, and I'd bet the phone is nearly 100% consistent with the current iPhone 4 (with a fixed internal insulator on the antenna).

It is expected that Apple will sell several million iPhone terminals in the first days after the launch of this new model, but do not be afraid, it is still an iPhone 4, but it will only work on CDMA networks.
