Save the SHSHs for iOS 4.0.1 while you still have time!

Apple is still signing SHSH files for iOS 4.0.1, so if you haven't had time to save the SHSH for that firmware version or you just bought a phone, save the SHSH for 4.0.1 while you still have the chance. I remind you that iOS 4.0.2 blocks the decoding solution on jailbreakme.com, so without SHSH at 4.0.1 you will not be able to return to having the firmware version, no matter what terminal you have! iPhone 3G/3GS, iPod Touch 2G/3G and the iPad tablet require SHSH files to restore to iOS 4.0/4.0.1, so without them you cannot return to that firmware version and implicitly you cannot jailbreak!

  4. I tried to save SHSh with TinyUmbrella as follows.
    1) I connected the iPhone
    2) open TinyUmbrella
    3) Save my SHSH
    4) when I give Display SHSHs it appears "The Following Device /EICD can be safely restored:
    iPhone 3GS 4.1 (8B117)-1572060040462"

I mention that I have OS 4.0.1 installed and I want to downgrade to 3.1.3. Can I do this if I get the above message?

  5. I have an iPhone 4 installed with 4.01...I would like to re-software it again but the problem is that I can no longer save the sh-us....how could I restore it to the same version. The problem is that the microphone doesn't work when I'm on the phone, otherwise it works fine and when I try to record or on Skype, the microphone doesn't work when I call. Do you have any idea? can I restore it to 4.01? Thank you
