The US government loves Macs

The graph above represents the increase in Apple sales in the business field due to a consistent purchase of Macs by a US government agency. In a recent video clip made by US President Barrack Obama, I noticed that he used a Mac to present a new website with medical insurance companies, so it seems that the US administration prefers Apple and Mac OSX over Microsoft and Windows. To be honest, it is understandable that government agencies prefer the stability and professionalism of a Mac system versus the instability of a Windows system, and the recent acquisitions are a clear sign that Microsoft has fallen off the bars of the American government.

But not only the American government has purchased massive amounts of Macs, it seems that Apple is also registering good sales in Europe as a result of the iPhone's popularity. Analysts say that it is a halo effect, that is, iPhone owners had the opportunity to test iOS and now prefer a Mac OSX system over Windows, although this implies a total change in the way of working with the computer. Another reason would be the fact that in Europe many mobile phone operators (including Orange Romania) sell Macs with subscriptions, so a much lower initial cost and a staggered payment over a longer period of time.

"The key driver," of Mac sales in the European market, Wolf writes, "appears to be the iPhone. The iPhone holds a higher share in the European smartphone market than it does in the US because it is distributed through multiple carriers in most countries in this region. In addition, the halo effect emanating from the iPhone is undoubtedly stronger than the iPod halo effect."

Apple continues to grow, record sales, and I for one just hope that it "doesn't go to its head" and turns into a kind of Microsoft.
