iOS 4.1 could be released on Wednesday, watch out for the update!

I have announced yesterday that Apple scheduled a conference for September 1st at which, among other things, it will present (more than likely) the new version of iOS, iOS 4.1, which has been in beta for some time. I remind you that iOS 4.1 blocks the jailbreak method used by comex in jailbreakme.com, but it also comes with baseband updates for the iPhone 4 and the rest of the iPhone models. This baseband update blocks the decoding done now with ultrasn0w and you probably noticed that lately there has been absolutely no talk about any new baseband exploit, so if you update without knowing the cause, it is possible to remain without decoding for a good period of time.

iOS 4.1 is the next important version of iOS that Apple will release, so I repeat: be very careful NOT to update when an iTunes warning appears because you will be left without decoding and without the possibility to jailbreak if you do not have SHSH saved in Cydia . The last version that allows jailbreak is iOS 4.0.1, the last version that allows decoding is iOS 4.0.2, but unfortunately there is no jailbreak solution for iPhone 3GS with new bootrom on this software version.

So... be careful! The "fun" begins again.
