Epic Citadel is a tech demo made by Epic Games based on the Unreal 3 graphics engine and is a preamble to the Project Sword game that will be released next week in the AppStore. Project Sword is a kind of MMORPG similar to WOW for PC, that is, you will be able to play online with your friends and you will be able to duel with them in the arenas of Project Sword, all in an extraordinarily well-made environment. The graphics in the Epic Citadel tech demo are really impressive, especially if you have an iPad tablet or an iPhone 4 because on these 2 devices you can see all the graphic details of the game.

Unfortunately, Epic Citadel is only a demo that will allow you to walk through the inner courtyard of a castle plus the related buildings, and around it to admire the spectacular view that surrounds it. The Project Sword game will be available with iOS 4.1 when Apple launches Game Center, and through them you will be able to play online with your friends the new creation of Epic Games. In Apple's presentation, those from Epic Games did a small demonstration with a fight between 2 characters from Project Sword and from what they said the game will be focused on something like that, but we can find out the full experience only after they officially launch it.

Epic Citadel is 82.3MB and can be downloaded from here. During the evening, an update was released for the game, but the update only solves a problem of compatibility with old versions of iOS.
