Direct Closer is a new tweak available in Cydia that will help you simplify the process of closing applications open in the background on iOS 4.x. You already know that any open application remains in the background and must be closed by opening the task switcher in iOS 4 and of course by pressing the icon until it starts to vibrate and the close button appears. Direct Close allows you to skip the step of pressing the icon to close it and brings the close button directly from the moment you open the task switcher. It is true that this tweak increases the chances of closing applications by mistake, but it is very useful and makes the process of closing applications much faster.
