Apple is preparing functions for several terminals, but not all of them receive them

Apple has the habit of testing new iOS functions on several devices and finally including these functions only in some of them, to the disappointment of millions of iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch owners. This time we are talking about the HDR function included in iOS 4.1, a function that was implemented only for the iPhone 4, but was tested by Apple for the iPhone 3GS as well, or at least the above picture discovered by 9to5Mac in iOS 4.1. Notice that the first picture is of a lower graphic quality and would be intended for iPhone 3GS terminals, and the lower one with a better quality would be intended for the iPhone 4 terminal, and the names of the icons also contribute to this theory.

The iPhone 3GS has a 3-megapixel camera, which is decent, but not that great for those who intend to use the HDR function to its full potential. Apple probably played with this for a few months on the iPhone 3GS and finally decided that only the iPhone 4 has a powerful enough camera in terms of hardware to use this function. The decision seems a little hasty considering that there are still tens of millions of iPhone 3GS owners who might have wanted to use the function regardless of its results.
