Energizer PowerSkin charges your iPhone in 30 minutes!

Today at the CTIA convention in San Francisco, the Energizer company a submitted 2 very interesting products for charging the iPhone and other mobile terminals. First of all, we are talking about the PowerSkin case - a case equipped with a rechargeable battery whose main advantage is to charge an iPhone in about 30 minutes. Normally, charging an iPhone takes at least 2 hours, but Energizer claims that they have developed their own technology that allows iDevices to be charged much faster.

The second product presented by Energizer is a charging pad, i.e. a kind of "tablet" (not in the sense of internet tablet) that charges almost any terminal placed on it. Energizer's charging pad works on the basis of a new standard for "inductive charging" called "Qi" which allows recharging the batteries of the terminals without them being connected by wire to the gadget. This standard is used by several hundred companies for various products, but Apple has not implemented it in any of its gadgets, so Energizer also offers a certain "foil" that is mounted on the back of the terminal and allows it to be charged wirelessly.

No details were given about the price, but one seems very interesting to me, such a product that would practically eliminate the need to connect phones via cable to the PC/socket to recharge them.
