greenpoison, the jailbreak solution that the Chronic Dev Team and Dev Team have been working on for more than a month, will be released tomorrow at the set time, but it will not use the famous SHAtter exploit but the same exploit existing in the jailbreak solution limera1n launched by geohot this evening. MuscleNerd a announced tonight to give up using the SHAtter exploit in order not to "throw" 2 different exploits, so SHAtter will most likely be used to jailbreak iOS 4.2. It has not been said whether tomorrow's greenpoison will be compatible with the iPhone 0GS, but if it uses the exploit from limera3n then there is every chance that this compatibility will exist.
UPDATED: It looks like greenpoison will be delayed to implement the limera0n exploit. p1sixninja a pus the problem under discussion and MuscleNerd seems to have been given solution.
