Could Apple buy Sony or Facebook?

Last week, Apple presented in a conference all the data regarding the receipts recorded in the fourth semester of 2010. According to these data, more than 20 billion dollars entered Apple's treasury, of which more than 4 billion represent the company's profit. With this amount, Apple currently has more than 51 billion dollars in cash ready for almost anything that Steve Jobs could think of, and if we are to go by what he said during the conference, then Apple should prepare to buy something soon. Based on that statement, rumors began to appear indicating that Apple could acquire Sony, FaceBook, Adobe, Disney or who knows what other important company from around the world.

All this is pure speculation and does not in any way indicate the intentions of those from Apple regarding possible acquisitions of other large companies. Apple has so far acquired only small companies and only one of them was successfully used in the launch of a new product, iAd. My opinion is that Apple will use those 51 billion dollars at the right time to make a "big" move that will more than likely substantially increase the company's revenues but at the same time its position on the international market.
