These days, the iPhone community was a little more dynamic than usual, and that's because a new jailbreak solution appeared that solves a rather important problem for Windows users. Immediately after the release of this jailbreak solution appeared and iOS 4.2GM which can be jailbroken with that solution, but everyone's recommendation is not to switch to iOS 4.2 GM because Cydia is not yet optimized for iOS 4.2. Unfortunately, this reason could be the basis of a postponement of the release of the new jailbreak solution if the patches for Cydia will not be developed quickly enough to be implemented before iOS 4.2 GM is released.
It seems like, chpwn was charged with solving the problems related to the Cydia application on iOS 4.2, but it is not known if it will finish in time and we will have a jailbreak solution ready when iOS 4.2 appears or we will have to wait for a while longer. Until then, no one knows exactly when iOS 4.2 will be available, so we can only hope that the patches will be ready by then.
