iTunes 10.1 could be released tomorrow and iOS 4.2 could be available on Friday

Today Apple sent a message to iOS application developers reminding them to prepare their applications for the launch of the new iOS 4.2. This gesture gives us a very clear understanding that the launch is imminent and will take place within a few days, but according to some information provided by an AT&T insider, it seems that iTunes 10.1 and Mac OS X 10.6.5 would be released tomorrow and iOS 4.2 only on Friday. It was normal for Apple to release a new version of iTunes a few days before an important update for iOS, but I'm quite skeptical about the information that can reach the ears of representatives inside AT&T.

According to the information provided by that person, the new version of iOS would be released around 20:00 (Romanian time), the time when iOS updates generally appear almost every time. If the information is true or we won't find out today, anyway get ready because iOS 4.2 is close!
