Apple TV available today in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Spain and Mexico, others to follow

Until today, the new Apple TV model was only available in certain countries, but it seems that Apple has decided to expand availability the product and in several other countries, such as Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Mexico have Apple TV 2G available in Apple stores today. With the introduction of this product in the current offer, Apple also added a new section that allows renting movies in HD format, so users will have something to see after purchasing the product. In the USA Apple TV 2G costs $99, but in Italy it costs €119 and in Switzerland 129 Swiss francs, so the famous conversion was again applied by Apple.

If you don't live in one of these countries, don't despair because Apple TV 2G will be available in the near future in: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Holland, Portugal, Sweden and Taiwan. Yes, Romania won't see something like that soon, in fact we don't even have an iTunes music store and I'm sure we won't have something like that in the near future.
