A few weeks ago I wrote an article in which story about a young American who made more than $130.000 from the sale of conversion kits that allowed the replacement of the black iPhone 4 terminal case with a white one. Today I received by e-mail some pictures in which we have an iPhone 4 modified using this conversion kit and to be honest the phone looks quite good and the case seems to be "original". The only difference between the black case and the white one is that grill on the upper part of the case, which if you remember, was made by Apple engineers to solve a problem with the proximity sensor.
The person who sent me the pictures claims that the conversion kit was bought from the website whiteiphone4now.com and $279 plus another $20, so a total of $300 and the delivery took place in 8 days. In the package, in addition to the case, there is also a set of tools for opening the terminal. In conclusion, the kit reaches about half the value of a black iPhone 4, so whoever has money and really wants it can buy it.
The white model looks pretty good and probably would have been a great success if Apple had managed to launch it by now, but we will probably only see it launched with the iPhone 5.
