Dev Team releases redsn0w 0.9.6 beta 6, fixes iPhone activation issues

Dev Team promised to find a solution for the activation problems caused by redsn0w on iOS 4.1/4.2.1 and here the solution came in the form of a new version of redsn0w. The TetherMe application developer has found a new method of hacking phones that imitates the process of Apple's. The new method is called Subscriber Artificial Module and once used it gives you valid activation certificates so you won't have to use other applications from Cydia, the phone will no longer constantly ask for them from Apple and the battery autonomy will increase with this inactivity.

To use the Subscriber Artificial Module, all you have to do is add the Cydia repo http://repo.bingner.com and install the applications SAM si SAMPrefs. This method will only work if you HAVE NOT YET hacktivated using redsn0w or PwnageTool. For more details, go to the tutorial in the link below.

You can find the tutorial for activation using SAM here.. You can download redsn0w 0.9.6 beta 6 from here: [download id=”104, 105″]
