iSHSHit – save SHSHs simply and easily from your terminal

iSHSHit is a new application available in Cydia that eases the work of saving SHSH files needed to restore our terminals. Until now, the only method to save SHSHs was using the TinyUmbrella program or waiting for Cydia to save them by itself. With the help of iSHSHit you can save SHSH files for the current versions of iOS both in Cydia and on the phone. Unfortunately, iSHSHit does not allow saving SHSH files for previous versions of iOS, but only for the current ones (iOS 4.2.1 at the moment).

After you have saved an SHSH file using iSHSHit, it will be automatically saved on the phone but also sent to Cydia for saving on Saurik's server. Once the SHSH is saved in the phone it can be sent by e-mail to your computer to be used with TinyUmbrella in case of a restore. The application is compatible with all iDevices including Apple TV, so you can save SHSH for any terminal.

The application is available for free in Cydia and I recommend you to install it and save SHSH for iOS 4.2.1 (if you haven't done it yet) and for iOS 4.1 because it is still possible. All you have to do is open the application, select the desired firmware version and press save and the application will automatically save the SHSH.

The application works ONLY on the basis of an internet connection.
