Google is preparing some Android tablets to compete with the iPad 2

This morning I wrote an article in which said that Apple could launch the iPad 2 tablet in just 100 days, that is, at the end of February. This new model of the tablet could have a considerable impact on the company's earnings and it is expected that next year Apple will break the sales record set this year with the iPad tablet. While Apple is working on iPad 2, Google is working on Android Honeycomb and several new tablet models that will be available next year and will compete directly with iPad 2. For those who don't know Android Honeycomb will be the first version of Android 100% compatible with internet tablets and the tablets that will run it will really be competitive not only with iPad 2 but also with the other tablets available on the market at the moment.

Last night in a conference Andy Rubin, vice president of Google, presented a new tablet produced by Motorola that runs the new Android Honeycomb. It seems that the new tablet represents a big big step forward compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab because we are still talking about an operating system made especially for this type of device. Until the launch of these tablets we still have to wait, but I hope that Google will not praise a product that in the end could turn out to be a disappointment, see Nexus S.
