iPad 2 will have 2 cameras, will be thinner and will have Retina Display

Until now, there have been all kinds of rumors related to the iPad tablet and the fact that it could have 2 built-in cameras. The front one would be used for video calls made using the FaceTime function and the back one would be used to take pictures or record video clips at a much better resolution. The newest rumor comes from an article written by the famous press agency Reuters which cites sources from within the Apple company but also sources from the manufacturers of components for iDevices. Some sources confirm the fact that in the first half of 2011 the component manufacturers will increase the production capacity both for the components delivered so far for the current version of the iPda tablet, but also for others that would be implemented in the iPad 2.

Two could only confirm they were ramping up for a new round of production in the first quarter for components previously supplied for the original iPad, while two said the ramp-up was for a new iPad.

Other sources support the fact that the tablet would really have 2 cameras, one front and one in the back. Moreover, it seems that the tablet will be much thinner and will have a high resolution screen, so it is very possible that we will see the Retina Display technology implemented in the iPad 2. To be honest, it was about time that Apple did this for that the Samsung Galaxy Tab has an implemented camera and an iPad 2 tablet without something like that would not have been as successful.

One of those said the revamped model would feature cameras on the front and rear, while the other said the new model would be slimmer, lighter and have a better resolution display.

To be honest, I didn't learn anything new from Reuters, everyone already knew this, all that remains is to see it presented once.
