Microsoft enters the tablet war!

Apple earns billions of dollars from the iPad tablet and most major gadget manufacturers have been trying for several months to produce devices at least as competitive as the iPad tablet. Unfortunately, until now only Samsung proved to be an opponent equal to the "strength" of those from Apple because it managed to produce not one but 2 devices that competed with iDevices and we are talking here about Samsung Galaxy Tab and Samsung Galaxy S.

Well, if Samsung could compete with Apple, why couldn't Microsoft do the same? We are just talking about a much bigger company with much more resources available plus a very interesting operating system for mobile terminals. Year after year, Microsoft tried to reinvent the tablet PC market, but unfortunately none of them had as strong an impact as the iPad tablet, and to be honest, I don't think the situation will be any different this year.

Next month, at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Microsoft will present a slew of new slates that it hopes will offer some competition to the Apple iPad, which has quickly become the leader in this market.

According to people familiar with Microsoft's plans, Steve Ballmer, Microsoft's chief executive, is expected to announce a number of these devices when he takes the stage at CES, showcasing devices built by Samsung and Dell, among a number of other manufacturing partners.

The new tablet from Microsoft will be announce next month at the CES international conference, Windows Phone 7 will be running and of course it should amaze us all. Sources inside Microsoft claim that the tablet presents us with a new vision of how this kind of product should look and Microsoft is sure that it will be successful.
