Unreal Development kit published, make a game similar to Infinity Blade now!

Before the launch of the Infinity Blade game in the AppStore, those from Chair Entertainment promised us that they would release the development kit on the basis of which the game was made in order to give the opportunity to other game developers to make equally good games graphical view. This development kit was publicat yesterday by Epic Games and is available to anyone within certain limits. The development kit is free for those who use it for personal purposes, but if you want to make games and sell them in the AppStore then you have to pay $99 per year to use the kit and you have to give 25% of the proceeds over 5000 $ to Epic Games.

In theory, the idea of Epic Games is good because we will see more and more very good games from a graphical point of view in the AppStore. From the developers' point of view, the situation is not so rosy because they have to pay half of the profit to Epic Games and Apple: 25% of the receipts over $5000 to Epic Games and 30% of any sale to Apple.

Personally, I don't think there will be many developers who will give up half of the profit in favor of the 2 companies, but you never know.
