There are only 2 days left until Christmas and many of you are waiting for the untethered jailbreak and unlock solutions (only for iPhone 4) promised by comex and the Dev Team just a few weeks ago. Last night in a tweet comex specified that there is a possibility that its jailbreak solution will not be available until Christmas because it failed to do it. In this case, we should at least see the backup solution from the Dev Team, a solution that involves the use of a SHSH for iOS 4.2 beta 3. Of course, now we don't know if the Dev Team will release this new jailbreak solution considering that they also have their priorities at this time of the year.
At the moment MuscleNerd and p0sixninja are arguing due to the fact that SHAtter has been distributed on the Internet (although it is unclear if the respective version contains the real exploit) and the work for the jailbreak solutions goes to plan 2. Oh well, maybe until January 1st they release something, if they stop arguing long enough to work.
