redsn0w 0.9.7 beta 4 available

Keeping yesterday's promise, the Dev Team released today redsn0w 0.9.7 beta 4, the untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 4.2.1 that can only be used by people who have SHSH for iOS 4.2 beta 3 saved. This new version of redsn0w brings only 2 changes: the first refers to the implementation of usbmodx in redsn0w, so it will no longer have to be installed separately by the user; the second is related to solving some bugs present in the jailbreak implementation system, more precisely the crash that appeared during the process was solved Preparing JB Monte Files.

The Bluetooth and Skype functions are still non-functional, but the Dev Team is working to solve this problem as well. This beta version is ONLY intended for beta testers, so use it VERY carefully.

At the beginning of 2011 we will have a beta version for Windows users as well, so stay tuned. You can find a jailbreak tutorial using redsn0w 0.9.7 beta 4 here.
