iHealth is an American company whose object of activity is the production of medical devices that work with the help of iDevices. One such device is the iHealth blood pressure dock which, together with special tools, can measure blood pressure and display the results in an application for iDevices already available in the AppStore. Connected to a device for measuring blood pressure, the dock displays information on the systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the application and keeps logs of all the measurements you make. The application seems to be very easy to use, it provides graphs with all the measurements made by you and to be honest it is a product that should be in your home regardless of whether you suffer from heart problems or not.

iDevices seem to be increasingly used for medical applications, a good example of this being the accessory with which you can do an electrocardiogram yourself. The versatility of iDevices will certainly contribute to their use in areas where we never thought they could be used and probably in the coming years they will become commonly used devices almost anywhere in the world.

The iHealth blood pressure dock is available for $99.95 and can be purchased from manufacturer's website. The device will be officially unveiled at CES 2011 tomorrow.
