The Opera browser has been available in the AppStore since last year and the company is thinking of developing a version for tablets that are starting to become more and more popular. In the video clip above we have a demonstration of the Opera browser running on a Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet, but that application is slightly different from the one in the AppStore. The Opera browser for iDevices was awaited by millions of users from all over the world, it was "under review" at Apple for almost a month and when it was launched it reached the top of the most downloaded applications in all the AppStores in the world.
Unfortunately, the application was and still is a big big disappointment because it works absolutely deplorably on most terminals and has a reduced functionality due to Apple's policies. If the version for iPad will be similar to the one for iPhone/iPod Touch then probably Safari will still remain the best browser for iDevices.
