Although Lenovo declared a long time ago that it will not produce a tablet with the Windows 7 operating system, this model present at CES 2011 completely contradicts the company's claims. The tablet from images it has a 10.1 inch screen, it runs Windows 7 Home Premium, it has an Intel Atom Oak processor but it doesn't have an official name yet. The tablet has a resolution of 1280×800, it has a capacitive screen, but it also comes equipped with a stylus that can be used (and I would say that its inclusion is very necessary) when working through Windows because the operating system is not really that touchscreen friendly . To be honest, the tablet looks quite ok, but it is not a real competitor for the iPad or iPad 2.

The second interesting tablet comes from Toshiba, runs Android 2.2 Froyo, seems to have an 8-9 inch screen and moves quite well. From the brief presentation of those from Engadget not much is noticeable, just a very nice wallpaper and the fact that the tablet works very well, it's fast, everything moves fluidly and this is a big plus. However, we cancel this addition stating that Android 2.2 Froyo is the smartphone version of Android, so the experience will be similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Specifically, few applications in the Android Market and almost zero support considering that Google is working on Android Honeycomb for tablets.

So, this is what Toshiba and Lenovo had to present at CES 2011, none of them seems to me to be a real competitor for the iPad, I'm not even thinking about the iPad 2.
